The AECE Studio

Privacy Policy

Privacy at The AECE Studio: our website, studio enquiries, and where to find the policy for each of our products.

Effective 8 October 2026

1. Who we are and what this covers

The AECE Studio operates theaecestudio.com and is responsible for the information described in this policy. For privacy questions or support, contact [email protected].

The AECE Studio makes Aether, Teo, and our games. This policy explains how we handle information on this studio website and in enquiries about any of our products.

Each product has its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Its Privacy Policy explains the information collected within that product, how it is used, its service providers, and your data controls. This studio policy does not replace those product policies or imply that every product collects the same information.

Find the applicable Privacy Policy on the product’s website or within the product. Start from our product overview, or visit Games for individual game pages. For access or deletion requests, follow that product’s instructions or contact studio support and name the product concerned.

2. Information we handle and why

You can browse this studio website without creating an account or providing an email address. Sending an enquiry is optional, but we need enough information to respond to it. A support enquiry is not a subscription to marketing emails.

3. Cookies and security checks

We do not add advertising trackers, a separate analytics script, a sign-up form, or our own tracking cookies to this studio website. Cloudflare helps deliver and protect the site. It may run browser security checks, use essential security cookies, and receive network error reports. Browser settings can control cookies, although blocking security cookies may affect access.

4. Service providers and sharing

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and email providers process the information needed to deliver the website, secure it, and handle correspondence. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for its service practices. Clicking a product or external link takes you to a service with its own privacy notice.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to investigate abuse and protect people or our services. Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, those requirements apply; contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your enquiry.

5. Reasons for processing

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable website and responding to general enquiries, on providing a service you request where necessary for a contract, and on meeting legal obligations. If processing requires consent, we will ask for it and you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

6. Retention and security

Our server access logs are configured for daily rotation with up to 14 rotated log files retained. Actual retention depends on traffic and rotation timing. Cloudflare retains its service information under its own policies. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve your enquiry, handle related follow-up, or meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete correspondence; if we need to retain specific information, we will explain why unless the law prevents us from doing so.

This website uses HTTPS for browser connections. We restrict server administration and access to support information. No transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, restrict processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

You may also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may ask for limited information to verify that the request concerns your data. We respond within the period required by applicable law. You may complain to the data protection authority where you live.

For data held within a particular app or game, use that product’s privacy or deletion instructions, or tell us which product your request concerns. Visiting this website does not give us access to your device’s app data.

8. Children’s information

This studio website does not offer child accounts or ask children to submit personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information in a studio enquiry, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate. Individual products explain their age requirements and practices separately.

9. Updates and contact

We may update this policy when our website or practices change. The effective date identifies the current version. For privacy requests, questions, or support, email [email protected].
